This book is about a princess and three cousins, one poor and the other two rich. The princess likes the poor one best, but nobody think she should marry him. So she send them out to find one wonderful object each, The one that comes back with the best thing, she will marry.

I liked the story because there were many cliff hangers. The illustrations are paintings and are very unique. I would recommend this book for kids nine and younger.
