                               The Baseball Game:

           Washington Nationals Vs. Pittsburgh Pirates

Most of us have been to a baseball game and almost every baseball game is the same.  Maybe it’s because for almost every game you’re praying to the gods that a ball comes flying up your way, or that you catch one of those t-shirts that are shot up into the crowd every once in a while, but mostly you’re praying that the secretly hidden camera guys show a glimpse of you on TV anddoesn’t catch you picking your nose.

I’m sure that almost everyone in our class was experiencing this at the Nationals game.  We all went crazy when the T-shirts were being shot up into the stands; in fact, Lucas almost caught one.  The one bad thing about where we were sitting was the fact that a foul ball would ever come our way!  So, there was no way that any of us would be going home with a T-shirt or baseball. But overall I think the game was worth what we paid and the time we spent there.  Our seats weren’t half bad, and the game wasn’t very bad either.  Although the Nationals lost, it was still a pretty good game to watch, the Nationals actually hit some good homeruns, which set off some fireworks.

After the game we left through the only entrance, which was a pretty interesting entrance because as soon as you walk through it you can see the players and the entire field.  If you didn’t want to go up to your seats you could just sit down there.  It was really unlike any other stadium I’ve been to, mostly because of the entrance, but also because the way the stadium was set up, you could see the field from almost everywhere in the stadium.  The Nationals have a good stadium and for the 7th inning stretch, they shot T-shirts into the stands and had presidential mascot races around the stadium, which was hilarious.  Now all the Nationals need is a team that leads the league in something other than errors.
